About SmartTrace
Built in Ireland by people who make software for small businesses, with small food producers looking over our shoulder.
SmartTrace started as a traceability system for one microgreens grower who was drowning in tray labels and delivery dockets. It worked, other producers asked for it, and it grew into software that any small food business can use: a bakery, a kitchen, a dairy, a roastery.
It's made by SmartChef Limited in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland, the company behind SmartChef, the digital HACCP and temperature monitoring system used in Irish kitchens. SmartTrace is its sister product: SmartChef keeps food safe while it's with you, SmartTrace keeps the record of where it came from and where it went. Not sure which one your business needs? What we believe
- Small producers deserve the same tools as big ones, at a price that makes sense for a business of two people.
- Software should fit the work, not the other way round. If a feature needs a training course, it's wrong.
- One price, no tiers, no tricks. You should never discover the thing you need is on the next plan up.
- Your data is yours. Export it any time, and we'll never sell it or share it.
